Chris Pearson

Managing Director UK and Canada

Chris Pearson is Managing Director for the UK and Canada at MED e-care. Chris brings decades of experience across pharmacy and care home software. His long-standing career in health and social care technology gives him a deep understanding of the operational, clinical and regulatory challenges faced by care providers.

A father, keen runner and fitness enthusiast – and the source of the occasional dad joke – Chris is known for being genuine, upfront and always open to discussion. He works closely with customers and partners to ensure MED e-care continues to evolve, developing software that truly supports outstanding care delivery for every care home we serve.

Kosi Segbedzi

Head of Product

Joining Med e-care in 2014, Kosi first worked as a Clinical Applications Analyst. From there, he advanced to Med e-care’s Technical Lead for IT and Development. His experience on the front line, taking end-user support calls and managing client relations has influenced him in improving the efficiency and usability of our programs.

Kosi’s experience as the Technical Lead for Software Implementation for select corporate clients enables all new partners to benefit from his wide ranging experience dealing with both internal and external systems and integrations.

Working with Med e-care’s Product Managers as the project sponsor for UK features, Kosi provides our corporate clients with increased insight into what new features are planned for Med e-care’s Development Roadmap and offers them a pathway to share requests and feedback with our team. 

Kosi is Med e-care’s lead on Integration and Documentation surrounding both Medication and Resident Interfaces. Through this experience, Kosi has understanding of HL7 and other recognized standards of Health Data storage and retrieval. 

Prior to commencing working with Med e-care, Kosi worked within the Fire Safety and Security industry. Through this experience, Kosi gained vast experience with creating, testing and reviewing policy and procedure.

Liz Price

Head of Operations

Liz joined Med e-care in October 2018 having previously worked closely with Med e-care since 2013 to bring their eMAR solution to the UK in her role as eMAR Implementation Manager at Lloyds Pharmacy. Her team were the first in the UK to offer their care home customers an interfaced eMAR solution. Liz helped to shape the solution for the UK market. Her team implemented the solution for our care home partners and went on to develop a market-leading “train the trainer” model of implementation.

Liz has over thirteen years of experience in pharmacy. She is a qualified Health Care Assistant and Dispenser, specialising in the care home sector for the last six years.

Her areas of expertise are in Operations and Project Management. She is highly organized and is a skilled and effective communicator. Her key strengths are in improving efficiency and streamlining processes and procedures.

Liz manages the Implementation & Training and Support teams in the UK and Canada. She is passionate about coaching and developing her teams to ensure that they consistently demonstrate and deliver the highest standards of customer care.

Laurence Bevan

Senior Care Systems Executive

Laurence joined MED e-care in July 2022 as Senior Care Systems Executive, bringing with him nearly two decades of experience across the pharmacy and social care technology space, having worked in the sector since December 2004. His deep understanding of both care delivery and medication management gives him a practical, real-world perspective on what providers need from their systems.

Known for his diligent, capable approach – and his great sense of humour – Laurence ensures every new customer experiences a clear, supportive and confidence-building onboarding. He takes the time to explain and demonstrate every part of the MED e-care system in detail, making sure teams feel comfortable and empowered before they move into the expert hands of our training and implementation team.

Alexis Carpenter

Care Systems Executive

Alexis Carpenter has been a valued member of the MED e-care team since April 2018, bringing with her over a decade of experience coming from an independent pharmacy background, which then lead her to the care home sector. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, Alexis plays a vital role in shaping those all-important first impressions of MED e-care. 've come from an independent pharmacy background, which then lead me to the care home sector

Known for her genuine care and commitment, Alexis consistently goes above and beyond for customers – something often recognised through the thoughtful gifts and heartfelt thanks she receives. Always smiling, full of energy and capable of tearing up the dance floor, Alexis combines professionalism with warmth, ensuring every customer feels supported from their very first interaction with MED e-care.
